Nica HOPE "Mallory" Necklace

Nica HOPE stands for "Haciendo Oportunidades Por la Educacion," which means "making opportunities for education." Nica HOPE works with the communities living around the Managua City trash dump, offering long-term solutions to entrenched poverty through education and practical skill training. It is an outreach cooperative of the Fabretto Children's Foundation.   Nica HOPE Jewelry is made by youth and mothers from La Chureca and its surrounding communities. The necklace is made of rich, small purple gemstones and brown wooden beads.
